Thirsty for some great coffee and fun music? Now is your chance to enjoy both.

I am sitting here listening to the four musicians of them playing away: Wayne on the guitar, Larry on the violin, Bill on the accordian, and Dale on the madolin (Dale). With weather being sunshine and a warm 68F degrees, everyone (except me) are outside in the plaza drinking coffee and listening.

The spectators are themselves something to observe. One gentleman in his sixties is dressed smartly in black with a hat looking much like James Cagney. Another was dressed up like a frontiersman. One thing you can say is that A Shot of Java is a haven for the Baby Boomers of Glendale and the western part of the Valley of the Sun. Few have any inhibitations with a couple dancing to the music.

You can find them generally on the second Saturday of every month here. But time changes with the heat and cold so you best telephone A Shot of Java to make certain just when they will be playing.
