Ehara-san and I left Atami somewhat late at about 11am. But there was a good wind although the seas were somewhat high. We made good time and got into Kawana at about 2pm. We found a beach area inside the harbor but unlike Atami the beach had a steep rise to it from the ocean. It was impossible for the two of us but Ehara found some 5th and 6th graders who volunteered to help and help they did with youthfulness and plenty of energy they helped us get Deai up the beach to a safe spot for the next week.
